I have been a stay-at-home mom for the last six and a half years. Before that I was a wildlife biologist for the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources. I moved to Cambridge 6 1/2 years ago. I have three children and I like the feel of our small town neighbourhood. I joined the board because I wanted to volunteer and make a difference in the community I live in.

Peter Caple, Member at Large
Profession: Professional Engineer
I have lived and worked in this region for 18 years now, after finishing University in Waterloo, and have lived in Cambridge for 12 of those years. I work at Babcock & Wilcox here in Cambridge. I have a wife and two daughters. I enjoy piano playing, winemaking, and doing “handy-work” around our house; and as a family we enjoy camping. I joined the board following a number of years of volunteering for Fiddlesticks. I hope to assist in moving the organization forward over the next several years while personally gaining some insight and experience into board function in general. |

Jennifer Kerr-Larsen
Profession: Stay-at-home Mother
My husband, Neal and I moved to Cambridge 10 years ago and we have 3 sons, ages 10, 7, and 4. I earned my BA in Sociology from the University of Western Ontario, but opted to stay home to raise our kids. I joined the board because it would be a great opportunity. I enjoy volunteering and am looking forward to helping my community. |

David Guerin
Profession: Co-Owner, Clear Path Employer Services, HR consulting firm.
My wife, Anna, and I have lived in the Fiddlesticks neighbourhood for 10 years and love it here. I was born and raised in Guelph, Ontario and graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1993. We have two incredible kids, a 9-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl, that keep us very busy. My family has been involved in the Fiddlesticks Neighbourhood Association for several years. My wife, Anna, just finished a 6-year-term on the Fiddlesticks Board. I hope to help Fiddlesticks continue to offer great programs for people of all ages in our community and to make our neighbourhood a safe, vibrant, and caring place to live. |

Sonia Geesink, Member at Large
Profession: Insurance Professional
Four and a half years ago, I moved to Cambridge and into the Fiddlesticks community with my husband and our two children. I initially joined Fiddlesticks as a volunteer and this past year became a member of the board. I joined the board because I wanted to contribute my help and my time to the community we live in. I have always enjoyed helping others and would like to assist the Fiddlesticks Association in creating a fun, yet safe, environment for all our teenagers and children to grow and live in. |

Profession: Retired Hair Stylist
I moved to Cambridge in 1998 and am a proud mother of two children. I started volunteering with Fiddlesticks Neighbourhood Association in 2001. I enjoy volunteering and being an active part of my community. I joined the Board of Directors to meet other people in my community who have the same passion as I do. |

Patrick Ramcharitar
Profession: Senior Thermal Station Officer for Ontario Power Generation.
I have been living in Fiddlesticks community with my family for over 20 years. My interested in joining the Board of Directors of the Fiddlesticks Community Center are mainly because I would like to serve my community through the activities and programs that FCC provide, and as a past board member I have seen the changes FNA and soon FCC has made over the years to serve the community better. The geographical location of our community has been growing and I feel that we can make a contribution and grow as an organization to meet and serve our diverse community. “I feel we are making a difference and helping in some way” |

Profession: Manager - Material Stores COMDEV Ltd.
I am married and have 2 children Eryn - 13 and Jake 11 and have lived in Cambridge for 19 years, 10 years in the Fiddlesticks neighbourhood. I have been associated with FNA for many years as both a volunteer as well as a Board member (Member at Large). I enjoy playing an active role in my children's lives as well as keeping very active myself. I have chosen to become a Board member once again because I believe it is important to "do my part" for my neighbourhood. My family and I love the neighbourhood and plan on staying here for many more years. |

Cynthia Southall, Secretary
Profession: Retired, Human Resources Specialist.
I am now retired, but I used to be a Human Resources Specialist working at our own Manufacturing business for about 20 years. My husband and I came to the neighbourhood 4 years ago, though we have lived in Cambridge for 39 years in total. We come from the U.K. originally and we emigrated to Canada when we were in our early twenties. I joined Fiddlesticks as a volunteer, working primarily in the office. My main function for the past 2 years has been helping with the Mayor's Gala, which has been most enjoyable. I wanted to join to give back to the community in some small way, which is the main reason I volunteer with Fiddlesticks. |

I am a married mother of two boys aged 15 and 14. Our family moved to Cambridge about 10 years ago and we have all been involved with Fiddlesticks since then. My youngest son attended the "Little Learners" program, both children participated in the "Summer Playground" programs and all of us, including my husband and myself, have been involved in the Scouting program for most of the time that we have lived in Cambridge. Currently, both of my children are youth volunteers with Fiddlesticks and my older son is a peer worker with the organization. |
