Ball Hockey Drop In

Come out to play ball hockey and bring your friends! This program focuses on good sportsmanship. You don't need to be a pro you just need to have fun! Drop-In Power Pass is available.
 

Book Review Club

A place to discuss what you've been reading. Share your opinions on chosen novels. Combine the fun of an evening out with friends and the quiet of curling up with a good book. Registration is required.
 

Cambridge Girls Choir

Do you like to sing? The Cambridge Girls' Choir is now a part of Fiddlesticks! Join choir conductor Peter West to learn all about music and singing as a group. For girls 8-18. Registration is required.  
 

Creative Cooks Drop-in

Are you between the ages of 9-14? Do you enjoy cooking?  Would you like to learn to cook and make yummy snacks and easy meals
you can make at home?  Then come out to Fiddlesticks and "get your cook on".
 

Drop-in Dodge Ball

Love to play dodge ball? Here's your chance! We play five different types of dodge ball including, elimination, official, scatter ball, terminator, and king's court. Come out to duck, dive, and dodge! Drop-In Power Pass is available.
 

FYRE Committee

Are you interested in having your say? Planning events for you and your friends....like dances, coffee houses, jam sessions?

Come out and join the FYRE (Fiddlesticks Youth Recreation Enthusiasts) committee. It is a great way to get involved in your neighbourhood...and a fun way to complete your community service hours for school.
 

Hip Hop Dance

Do you like to dance? This is a great way to get some exercise and have fun at the same time. Registration is required.
 

Shorinji Karate

Shorinji Ryu Karate is a traditional martial art. It improves flexibility, fitness, core strength and confidence with an emphasis on self defense. This program is suitable for students ages 9 to adult. (Students ages 6 to 8 years are welcome to train with a participating adult)

Karate Kidz

If your child is a karate beginner, between the ages of 6-8 years old, and a parent or guardian will not be registering with them, then Karate Kidz is for them! This program is a great introduction to karate.
 

Karate Kata

This is an additional opportunity for students to learn and practice kata.

Kindergym

Gross motor and social skills are developed through active gym play, songs, and games. Registration is required.  For further information please click here.
 
 KinderSPORT
In this program children ages 3-5 will play a different sport each week, giving your child the opportunity to socialize, burn off energy, and learn some new skills.
 

LEAD

For Youth 12-16.  Develop your leadership skills! Hang out and have fun at this leadership course run by Fiddlesticks. Its a great thing to have if you're looking to land that perfect part-time or summer job or a spot on student council! 12 Module Certification Program in Leadership. For further information,

 Media Night Drop-In
Are you in Grades 6-8?  Do you want to make a movie?  Well come bring your creative ideas to our Media Night Drop-In and let's make it happen!  We will be learning all aspects of making a movie: Script writing, Storyboards, Lighting, Filming, Editing, and Producing.
 

Parents and Tots

Looking for a way to get out of the house with your kids? Why not try this program run by the registered moms and dads? Songs, crafts, games and snacks, coffee, friendship and fun for both kids and parents. Among many benefits, Parents and Tots offers:
            - An opportunity for networking, reducing isolation among parents.
            - A venue for the viewing and sharing of parenting styles as well as the sharing of ideas, resources and techniques.
            - An opportunity for children to interact socially with their peers.
            - Stimulating toys, crafts, and songs for children to gain new skills and practice learned skills. 
Registration is required.

Spill, Smudge and Create

Children (ages 4-7) will explore art as a freedom of expression with an emphasis on spontaneity. They will be free to express themselves through a variety of media such as collage, sculpture, and different painting techniques. Recycleable materials will be incorporated into some projects. 

Total Body Resistance
This 60 minute workout will target your major muscle groups. Using the resistance bands will give you the ability to adjust the difficulty to your own preference while toning and strengthening your muscles. Squats, presses, lifts and curls will give you the results you want; all you have to do is come into the office and register today or drop in to the class. Fitness Pass is available.

Volkswalking

Walking in your neighbourhood has never been so much fun! Grab the dog, grab a friend and grab the pedometer you get with your registration and walk one of the Fiddlesticks trails! Call in and let us know your distances. Part of the Active 2010 initiative. Registration is required. For further information, please click here.
 

Wee Little Learners

The first step to the Little Learners program. This young children's program is run by trained staff. Playing, singing, arts and crafts, story, snack and circle time during the 2 hour program. Registration is required.  Click here for further details.
 

Youth Dances

Fiddlesticks youth Dances for grades 6, 7, and 8 will begin again in September!  Come up to the Ferguson Homestead with your parent or an adult and purchase your FYI Card starting the first week of School. Bring a 'small' photo of yourself and $2 to purchase your FYI (Fiddlesticks Youth Identification) Card.  Avoid the rush at the end of the month.  Dance tickets are $5  ($4 if you bring a non perishable food item at time of purchase)
 

Yoga (Hatha Style)

Another opportunity for rest, relaxation and gentle exercise. This morning class welcomes both beginners and the more experienced. Registration is required.
 
ZUMBA 16+
Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to creat a one-of-a-kind fitness program. This program is so much fun and you will forget you are working out! Fitness Pass is available.
