VOLUNTEERING AT FIDDLESTICKS
As a community-based organization, we rely on volunteers like you to run our programs and events. Fostering volunteerism in our neighbourhood is a key tenet of what we do. For over 20 years, Fiddlesticks has seen the benefits of having engaged and committed community members; not only as an organization but throughout our neighbourhood.

Celebrating our Amazing Volunteers
Read about the amazing individuals who were named Volunteer of the Year for 2023. These individuals go above and beyond every time they join in to help. Let us know who we should recognize next by letting us know when you see someone going above and beyond!

Mady H.
Mady has only been a volunteer with us for 1 year, but has already accumulated over 100 volunteer hours. Along with providing support for a number of community events like Neighbourhood Day, Mady is a dedicated member of our youth committee and reliable After School Program volunteer. This will be Mady's second summer with us as a Leadership Trainee. Mady is an exemplary youth volunteer.

TJ C.
In his 7 years with us, TJ has volunteered with almost every Fiddlesticks program and event you can imagine! His commitment to serving his community has resulted in over 2400 volunteer hours with us! During the school year, TJ volunteers with our Dodgeball drop-in and our After School Program. This summer, you'll see TJ every Thursday at our Summer Camp Extended Care Program. We are so fortunate to have a dedicated volunteer like TJ.

The Domingos Family
Members of the Domingos family have been involved with Fiddlesticks since 2018. They have been involved with large community events like Neighbourhood Day and Christmas in the Neighbourhood, but they've also supported our smaller events like Movie Nights, Egg Hunts and Youth Dances. Together, the Domingos family has accumulated over 540 volunteer hours with Fiddlesticks. They are a kind, funny and generous family that is always willing to give a helping hand in their community.
